Champagne and caviar at the push of a button? Our dream work space exists!
A new office building in London’s Soho is going to make it possible for employees to order fizz at the touch of their fingertips. Luxury real estate developers, Enstar Capital, are building the office space at 40 Beak Street and partnering with Stick’n’Sushi, the restaurant on the ground floor, to bring their tenants this luxurious offer.
The concept is inspired by nearby celeb hot spot and restaurant Bob Bob Ricard, which has become renowned for it’s gold-plated ‘Press for Champagne’ buttons. But the buttons at 40 Beak Street won’t just give office employees access to fancy fizz – caviar and cocktails will be available to order for those ‘special days’. The drinks will be brought up from the restaurant on the ground floor using dumbwaiters, making sure that delicious bubbles are available for immediate enjoyment.
Located on the site of a former police station, Enstar Capital has commissioned famous sculptor Lee Simmons to design the building’s new facade, and the whole project is said to cost a whopping £15 million.
40 Beak Street is the second sumptuous development created by Enstar; the last workplace the company developed made headlines for its inclusion of gold-plated bathrooms and wood flooring imported from an ancient Tuscan monastery.
The project is due to be completed in March 2018 – so you’ve got plenty of time to convince your boss to make the move!
