What’s inside April’s Bubble Box?

The sun is shining, the birds are singing – and April’s fabulous Bubble Boxes are here! This month’s “Sparkling Springtime” box is a celebration of one of our favourite seasons. Tasty treats and two absolutely gorgeous sparkling wines are tucked inside this fizzy delivery… keep on reading to see what they are!

The Bubbles


DOCG Prosecco Superiore “Costa d’Oro”

How it’s made: made of 100% Glera grapes, Scandolera’s winemakers follow a rigorous process to produce their Prosecco. It is made using the Charmat method.

Where it’s from: from the hills between the Italian towns of Valdobbiadene and Conegliano, an area synonymous with the world’s best Proseccos.

How it tastes: with Prosecco’s trademark floral notes on the nose, on the palate it’s a balanced wine with just the right amount of acidity. A refreshing wine perfect for the fresh days of early spring.

How to drink it: drink this wine cold – eight degrees Celsius is ideal. Fresh and complex, this refined Prosecco is delicious with risottos.

Domaine de Montmarin

Méthode Traditionelle Brut

How it’s made:  a blend of Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Viognier grapes, this sparkling wine is made using the traditional method.

Where it’s from: the French region of Languedoc, a southern spot close to the Balearic Sea and the northern border of Spain.

How it tastes: floral on the nose and rich on the palate, with notes of yellow fruit and lemony brightness from the Sauvignon Blanc

How to drink it:
 serve these bubbles cold – chilled to between four and eight degrees Celsius is the sweet spot. This wine makes a delicious aperitif.
